We specialise in several different models of care, the type of care that will suit your loved one depends on their individual needs and preferences. A particularly nice feature of our Activity Room is that it overlooks the Dublin Airport flight path, and a lot of our residents love to sit and watch the planes go by.
We like to encourage visitors and family in CareChoice Malahide, and we always do our best to have maximum accessibility for all. Caregivers at home do wonderful work, and to help them continue they need some support from time to time. November 5th 2019, in Care Choice Nursing Home, Northern Cross, Malahide Road. We have a dedicated Head Chef who oversees all meals and snacks in CareChoice Malahide.
Our team of NMBI Registered Nurses and QQI accredited Healthcare Assistants are skilled in providing compassionate individualised care for every resident. Our dementia friendly unit Birch is specially designed to enhance the experience of a person living with dementia. We know all our residents are individuals, they have families, friends, opinions and many diverse hobbies. We want our residents to enjoy the things that are important to them and cherish the pieces that make them unique.

Our activity calendar is designed based on each person’s needs and desires. Daily activities and regular participation in these activities have proven to minimise loneliness, increase socialising, improve physical health and give an element of fun and purpose to all our residents. We take great pride in caring for all our residents and we provide a person-centred approach to care. Our staff have the perfect mix of training and experience to give residents the compassionate care that they need.
Our convalescence care can assist with recuperation and recovery after surgery, or serious illness. On average people convalesce with us from two to six weeks, but people can be discharged from care sooner depending on their health status and recovery. We pride ourselves on our Activities Programme, which co-ordinate outings and activities for our residents.

This feedback is used to make improvements in our Home across all departments. Our Activities team lead this survey and assist residents with completing it if they need some help. We receive invaluable feedback from these surveys and give each resident a platform to have their voices heard on all aspects of living with us. We individualise each person’s activities programme based on their likes and dislikes and we also cater for residents who would rather enjoy individual activities. With a full time, physiotherapist and our multi-disciplinary team, we have a wealth of experience in CareChoice Malahide. We have a beautiful, manicured garden at the rear of our home where residents are free to relax in the sun. We offer all of the home comforts of daily life and our residents’ rooms are spacious and we encourage everyone to decorate their rooms to their own taste.
